Eventide North Campus properties is a family
owned and operated business. Dr. Charles Pavey, a local OBGYN,
founded the company in 1952, while practicing medicine out of his office
located at 2265 N. High Street. Dr. Pavey was born and lived his entire
life, next door to what is now Eventide's office, at 2259 N. High Street, until
he passed away in 2004 at 98 years old. Dr. Pavey originally
started buying property around his home and office in an effort to preserve the
historic qualities of the neighborhood, which was being threatened by developers
replacing many of the the area's single family home with large apartment
buildings and complexes - built for student housing. The properties are
still managed by the direct descendents of Dr. Pavey, with his son, Jon, and his
grandchildren overseeing the current company operations.
